Cocaine is Bad for You

Hello Guice,
I'm Michelle.
I met Damian at the begining of the 2009-2010 school year in European History. This is mainly his blog, but he asked me to add my own twist to it from time to time.
So here are some simple facts about me:

1. Graduating next year! (fuck yes)

2. Desparate to move to New York

3. Hates Florida most of the time

4. Don't care about school nearly as much as Damian does

5. People at my school look the same

6. Most of my friends are in college or in different high schools

7. Getting called hipster a lot this year

8. NYNYNYNYNY!!!!!!!!!! :D

I haven't always been obsessed with clothes like everyone claims. "I was born loving fashion and always have great taste XOXO". Except not really. Over the summer when I moved to Montana, for a hot second, I really got into it (mainly because I had nothing else to do and knew nobody). When I moved back to Florida my friends changed and so did my sense of style. I don't know exactly how to describe what I wear but I guess you'll put a label on it over the next few posts that go on here.

Also, really glad summer is here.

Insert Creative Title Here

My name is Damian. Just Damian. Shall I inform you of my last name? Of course not, for I have none. Shall I tell you when I was born? No, I shall not for I fell from the sky in my current state of perfection. Am I pretentious? It's up to interpretation, but I think not (Please take note that the sentences you just read are meant for comedic purposes, and yes my name truly is Damian if you didn't already catch on). I am simply a young boy who enjoys a paraphernalia of art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and photography. Sadly, the truth of the matter is I also love fashion and have never embraced it to its fullest potential; however, I have reached an epiphany in which I have come to realize that fashion is such a marvel and it allows for humans to express individuality without having the word JUICY labeled across their asses! It seems that today's society has implicated that men are simply to dress in typical overly sized t-shirts and baggy gym shorts, and dressing "stylishly" is running around in bedazzled, tight fitting t-shirts and grotesque baggy jeans. Being a straight male that knows something about the runway world, thanks to my friends who constantly read Vogue, I have come to realize that this stereotypical male that society has created is frustrating for someone like me who does not believe in these ideals. Now I don't think of myself as a rebel per se, for that sounds, in a sense, highly cliche, but I do wish to create a sense of style that is both wearable and aesthetically pleasing, which seems to be a factor that is quickly fading in today's lifestyle. I have a small band of friends who luckily share my ideals. So, a few of my close friends and I have decided to start this fashion blog in order to embrace our style further. Now that I have finished with my reasoning for the creation of the blog I feel a few more facts about myself are in order. I am a fanatic about school and AP classes especially, which can get incredibly stressful at times. I am in the top ten of my class and extremely competitive, so I strive to be valedictorian, which is a possibility since I'm number four in my class currently. I am, evidently, the first of my friends to be posting on the blog, so soon enough you shall meet the rest of them and we will be doing group photo shoots together that hopefully future readers will enjoy! These small blurbs will be produced typically by me since I adore writing and my friends seem to be going away during the summer in random intervals of time! So I feel no shame in giving myself a pat on the back for the creation of "Their Silent Soliloquies."
P.S. If you're an Emma Watson fan, as I am, you will note that she is in the picture where the title of the blog is located during an Italian Vogue photo shoot that I absolutely adored.
